Bites Tale : Finally, i realised that the person who really love me and care about me is always on my side. He's right, i should have put effort in making our relationship work rather than giving chances to another guy whom i don't know much about.
Glad to be back safely.
Really nervous when i was in the boat, luckily the boatman understands that we are scared and he didn't went fast.
Bites Tale : Everything will be buried deep down...
So many things happened for the past weeks.
I felt so helpless sometimes....
I know i should appreciate the people around me who love me... people that i know... people that really know me... understand me and most importantly appreciate and is sincere to me.
Not someone i don't know... not someone who i don't know what's in his mind... not someone who keep playing games with me... not someone who blinded me with his words only.
But I'm just plain stupid... again and again...
So helpless that i even thought of how good it'd be if i wouldn't wake up the next day...
Also thought may be this someone is for real after all.... but ended up i was fooled again...
I've learned my lesson... enough lessons...
So i guess is time to really say goodbye and no more games...
Bites Tale : For a moment, i thought i actually meant something to you, but in fact, i'm nothing.
Coming out from Rungus Long House and we head off to Bilit, where we will be staying overnight for that day. It was a tough ride that's mean we will be on the road for hours passing by oil palm plantations, villages and gravels.. one of us got sick due to long ride. I'm still doing fine, thanks to nescafe 3-in-1 and honey from the bee farm.. if you are asking how come we can have coffee on the road.. that's because the guide will stopover to fill the flask with hot boiling water throughout the journey.
Ya.. i never had coffee or food in the middle of no where... we would stopped at a village / highway or anywhere where the guide feel it's safe for us to stopover and stretch our muscle, had some food and coffee or even for the guys to pee... that's my 1st ever experience... i kinda missed the trip already.. so many 1st time.. with great companion.. and great guide who look after us very well.
Pic : Gravels and oil palm plantations
Nothing much to see through out the journey... we were already bored with so many oil palm plantations along the road.. as for me, i slept until we stopover for lunch.
Pic : Kedai Kopi Forest
I forgot where is this shop located.. as the name stated... Forest.. this row of shops is in the middle of no where... i only remember there're lot's of oil palm plantations around. We just had a quick lunch.. went to the loo... and off we go again.
Pic : Ah.... raining again... Grrrr!!!
We reach the jetty at around 4.30pm, there will be a boat waiting for us to bring us to the lodge where we'll be staying for the night. We need to park our car at the village as car cannot go into the lodge.
Pic : Walking down to the jetty
The Kinabatangan River is the 2nd longest river in Malaysia i.e. 560 kilometers from its headwaters in the mountains of southwest Sabah to its outlet at Sulu Sea, east of Sandakan.
Pic : Kinabatangan River
To our surprise, the water was very fast and there were no life jackets for us.. we requested for life jackets but the boat man said it's a 1 minute ride across the river.. our guide talked to them but to no avail.. so off we go.
Pic : The boat we rode on
Pic : The washroom at the Jetty
Pic : Our bags... there's so much.. we worried that the boat will be overloaded
The guide told us that Kinabatangan River is renowned for its remarkable wildlife and habitats... we could even see pygmy elephants if we are lucky enough. Since we were already lucky to see "something" (will reveal to you at the end of this post), we might be lucky to see the elephants too.
Pic : Off we went
Pic : This took us more than 1 min as per told by the boatman.. grrr!!
We reached the lodge i think about 3 - 4 mins.
Will be posting bout the lodge and our trail to oxbow lake soon.
And about that lucky thing we saw....
" " " " "
We saw 7 hornbills ... ya.. 7.. while we were on the road...
But... i can't get the pic... they flew off.. this is the best i could get..
Pic : 3 hornbills... they really look like cartoons.
Bites Tale : You looked so pale and thin, it actually shocked me... please take good care of yourself.... please...
We spent the rest of the day at Bavaggazo Rungus Longhouse.
Rungus tribe is the main ethnic group in Kudat and are renowed in for their skills in making colourful beaded accessories, basket and cloth weaving. Staying at the longhouse is really a new experience for us, the most difficult part for me is to bath with no water heater.. (shy... i'm a spoilt brat, i know!)... and to bath together with men! Hahaha... of cos in different cubicle.. but still.. there's still not enough "privacy" during bath time. But i do really enjoy the time when we were all standing side by side and brush our teeth after dinner. That was fun.
We were greeted and were brought to the rooms we will be staying overnight. We then unpacked, rest and chit chat while having our tea break.
Pic : The longhouse we stayed overnight
Pic : Overview of the long house, the doors at the left are doors to our rooms

Pic : Can't live without the ultimate companion of all times - Nescafe 3 in 1 Classic
Pic : What have we got here??? ---- Roti Kahwin from Fu Yuen, Damai
Pic : Who'd have thought - having Nescafe + Fu Yuen's Roti Kahwin at longhouse - bet Fu Yuen's boss will be happy to know this! ;)
Pic : Our "tents" - and my torchlight.. it's quite dark in the room even with the lights on... u can't see it because of my camera flash
Pic : They even have a "rack" for us to put our bags and stuffs
Pic : Night view of the longhouse
Pic : We had dinner at a hut right at the side of the long house
Pic : Our dining table & chairs
Pic : What have we got here?
Pic : Was really surprise at the variety of the dishes

Pic : I'm not stupid after all... :P
Pic : My bed..... and my torchlight
Pic : 1st time sleeping in a tent, a longhouse, and a village... the men helped to lock us in by slipping the tend under our mattress... so that no bugs or animal can go in.. unless they could bite.. O-0
