Justberrys Dessert House @ Lintas Plaza, KK

There's so much raves about this place for its dessert.

Brought mum and sisters one Saturday afternoon to try out. I've lost the pic on what we ordered that day, you could check them out at my sis, MeiTzeu's blog.

Made the 2nd and 3rd visits and they were all WOW, though they are slightly pricey compared to the other dessert shops, they are still reasonable considering the amount of real fruit they used.

My favourite here is the Durian dessert... Tried all 4 of the durian category.. I am now in love with D2.

Love the generous portion of durian.

Although this place is called Just Berrys, I personally like to call it JUST DURIAN!

Homemade Durian Cake, Kota Kinabalu

This is the best durian cake I've eaten in KK.

After I've tasted it on my friend's family dinner, I got the contact number from my friend.

Ordered the cake twice in 1 week time, 1st for my lovely friend, Sandra; 2nd for my sis.

Love the generous spread of real durian "flesh", the sponge cake was just nice, not too dry, not too wet.

Pricing was reasonable too. Normal one @ RM60 per cake, Special one (more durian) @ RM70 per cake. I ordered the RM70 ones.

Simply awesome.

The Chub's Grill @ Karamunsing Capital, KK

It was my 1st visit to this restaurant last night.

To be honest I didn't have high expectation on the food here that's why I never came to try. But since it was my elder sis's birthday yesterday and it was her call to decide, we went.

Food was surprisingly good, better than my expectation. Mum and elder sis ordered the Grilled Chicken Platter while all remaining of us ordered Lamb.

Food portion was big, luckily I ordered meat only + Garlic toast.

Service was really good, staff are attentive and always check whether the food arrived on time. Dad was given a complimentary bowl of mushroom soup because his lamb platter came late, so he can have some soup while waiting for his food aka no need look at us eating and "envy"... Hehehe

My only complaint :

The music was too loud. As the restaurant is an open concept and is a corner shoplot near to the main entrance, we can hear cars passing by ie it's already sounded "busy". I don't mind the K-Pop music during dinner but the volume was just too loud. Wish they would play some soothing / pop songs with a lower volume. It will definitely makes the ambience better.

If you have friends / family gathering, this will be a good place to go.

"Dinosaur Egg" aka Sesame Buns @ Strawberry Cake House, Damai, KK

These "Dinosaur Eggs" are really good for afternoon tea at home / office served with a cup of black coffee or tea.

The texture is crispy on the outside but chewy when you eat it. The black sesame is very aromatic. My friend said sometimes she eat it with butter. I prefer eat it on its own.

Levain Boulangerie & Pattisserie, Kuala Lumpur

If you are in KL and is looking for a nice place to spend your afternoon, this is a good place to go.

Be it alone or with friends and family, you will enjoy your time there with freshly baked buns and pastries while enjoying a cup of hot tea or coffee.

I personally prefer their buns and pastries instead of the cakes, still in my quest to find its best cake each time I visit this cafe.

Cotton Candy @ Gaya Street Sunday Market, Kota Kinabalu

It's been a looooong time since I last updated my blog.

At last a long waited holiday in conjunction with the Raya festival. Went to Gaya Street with parents and sis.

Saw this and can't resist. I think the last time I have this is when I was 11 years old.

Bring back the childhood memories and a "sweet" start to activate my blog with this too.

St. Patrick's Day at Sunset Bar, Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Resort

The 1st event after holiday in Hong Kong.

It was so relaxing with beer and cocktails + the seabreeze. It was really good to unwind. 1 round of free Green beer was given because we were wearing green. Green beer ie beer + green colouring. As usual, I love to order some snacks so we ordered some breads and hummus.

My friend's friend ordered the Guinness Beef Pie for us (Thanks!). Love the pie, though we did not taste any "Guinness Stout" in our pie, but it was so juicy and tasty. Goes well will my Green cocktail.

Restaurant Nyonya Makko, Malacca

A must try if you are craving for authentic Nyonya cuisine.

Our friends brought us here for dinner when we went to Malacca for our company trip early Jan this year.

They sure know what to order! Look at all the food. What a satisfying meal. We all went back to the hotel with bigger, rounder tummy.

"Rumah Terbalik" aka "Upside Down House" @ Tamparuli

Been neglecting my blog again due to busy work schedule.

Today is my off day and had the opportunity to go Tamparuli to visit the New Upside Down House. Wanted to visit it since my sis, @ChloeTiff, introduced to me through Facebook.

Getting to this Upside Down House is actually an easy drive you can see it before the Shell Fuel Station. It is definitely the first of its kind in Malaysia and South East Asia.

We are not allowed to take pictures when we were inside the house. I guess may be the owner wants to keep it a mystery so that everyone who is interested can go and experience it themselves. So I won't say too much on what I see inside the house.

I personally like the "Upside Down Kancil" - It looked so cute. ˆ⌣ˆ

There is a souvenir shop and a cafe when you come out from the house. So you can easily buy some souvenirs back. Or just quench your thirst at the cafe.

Opening hours is from 0800hrs - 2000hrs.

Entrance Fee :
Adult : RM18
Child : RM5
Child below 2 years - FOC
