My best friend's father passed away last night after battling with cancer. It's been 2 weeks when the doctor advised the family to get ready for the worst.
Although the family have been strong and look their best during this period taking care of their father as if they are prepared for the worst, but when the time comes, it was hard to hide the grief at this very sad and difficult time.
Being the only son, my best friend is looking strong and handling all the necessary, we know that he is hiding all his emotions. Like what he told us: "There must be 1 who have to be strong and do the necessary while the others are weak and sad."
I am worried that by not letting out our emotion might actually do more harm, however, was pleased to know that he will 'release' his sadness when there's no one looking and he is alone. And he will be okay since he must take care of the necessary and his mum.
His father will be missed by all who knew him and I'm sure he will be pleased to know that his son will have the strength that the family need to get though this.
My thoughts and prayers will always be with them.
